How to Pronounce Massachusetts Town Names
Out of the 364 towns listed on the site, I only have pronunciations for about 80 or so of them. I would really appreciate if you help out if you can submit a town pronunciation that I don't have listed already. AmherstAM-HURST This is the incorrect way to say it. AMURSTThis is the correct way to say it. Hearing someone pronounce the H in Amherst is the best indication that they are not from the area.
